Market Access & Risk Specialist (m/f/d)
As a Market Access and Risk Specialist, you will support Convex Energy's global market access strategy while contributing to the Risk Management department. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate with programming skills to develop expertise in energy trading, risk management, and market access workflows. Through structured onboarding, mentorship, and exposure to real-world challenges, you will gain hands-on experience in one of the most dynamic industries. You’ll help ensure seamless market operations, manage data integrity, and contribute to process automation within the Risk Management department. Develop a comprehensive overview and continuously execute all necessary tasks to ensure Convex maintains a strong presence in existing energy trading markets.Manage and optimize product and user administration, including trader access levels on energy exchanges and other market access platforms.Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Convex, including the Trading, Legal, Operations, Finance, Risk and IT departments.Continuously analyze external reporting and compliance requirements for every market in which Convex is active.Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers at various energy trading exchanges and market platforms.Lead and streamline the end-to-end process of entering new markets; i.e. analyze requirements, secure trading permits, onboard local TSOs (Transmission System Operators) and exchanges, etc.Oversee relevant contractual arrangements and ensure their high-quality execution.
